AxForge offering
When this offering is available: Instruction-based editing through the OpenAI-compatible /v1/images/edits endpoint, served from hardware AxForge owns in Stockholm. Send an image and a sentence (swap the jacket, replace the sky, remove the crowd) and get the edit back in seconds, with zero prompt retention.
Check the console for current access, prices and availability.
Why AxForge
| One sentence per edit | The classic photoshop-style requests from a plain-language instruction: swap clothes or colors, replace a sky or background, remove or add objects, restyle a product shot. Multiple reference images are supported. |
|---|---|
| Fast, open, commercial | A 4-step distilled model, so edits are seconds-scale, faster than a full generation. The 4B variant AxForge serves is Apache 2.0, fully open for commercial use. |
| Zero prompt retention | Images and prompts are processed in memory in Stockholm, Sweden. Not logged, not retained, never used for training. |

How it works
| 1 | Confirm this offering is available in the console before following the API setup steps below; otherwise add a public request. A request does not activate an endpoint. |
|---|---|
| 2 | Sign in to AxForge. Your API key is created in the console. |
| 3 | Set base_url to https://api.axforge.ai/v1 in the OpenAI SDK you already use. |
| 4 | POST /v1/images/edits with the source image (base64 or data URL) and one instruction. |
| 5 | Treat the call as asynchronous with a sensible client timeout. |
| 6 | Text inside the image? Regenerate it with ERNIE Image Turbo instead. |
FAQ
The classic photoshop-style requests, from a plain-language instruction: swap clothes or colors on a person, replace a sky or background, remove or add objects, restyle a product shot. Send the source image plus one sentence. Multiple reference images are supported.
Text belongs to the generation model: regenerate with ERNIE Image Turbo, which is built for dense, legible in-image text. Keep Klein for the visual work: objects, backgrounds, clothing, style.
Edits are seconds-scale: a 4-step distilled model, faster than a full generation. AxForge has not published its own tuned timing numbers yet.
When available, check current pricing in the console. €0.06 per edit (launch pricing). No subscription, no minimum. For committed volume, talk to an engineer.
The 4B model AxForge serves is Apache 2.0, fully open for commercial use. The larger 9B variant carries a non-commercial license; AxForge does not use it.
No. Images and prompts are processed in memory in Sweden, never persisted or used for training. Only request metadata is kept for billing and operations.
